St Peter's Church, Falmouth

The FGSJ has funded the repair of the clock (by Francis Perigal of Bond Street, London) in the tower of the parish church of St. Peter in Falmouth, Trelawny, built in 1796.
This was the Society's first project and members of the Jamaica Georgian Tour in 1996 were able to attend the service of rededication of the clock which was attended by a large congregation on a Sunday during the Tour.

Falmouth fishermen were said to be particularly glad that they could hear the clock striking while out at sea in the early morning, gathering their nets.
